I had an outstanding experience at Raymond Optical! From the moment I walked in, the service was friendly, efficient, and incredibly professional. A special shout-out to Chris, who is truly exceptional Chris went above and beyond to help me with my glasses. He was patient, knowledgeable, and offered honest suggestions, and made the whole process easy and enjoyable. It’s rare to find someone who combines expert skill with such warm, personable service. If you’re looking for high-quality eyewear and top-notch customer care, Raymond Optical is the place to go. And if you can, definitely ask for Chris — he’s fantastic!
Spoke to Chris on the phone this morning and then again when I came into the store. Chris was friendly, professional, and went above and beyond to not only help me go over all the different lens options, he also helped suggest some pairs when I asked. I look forward to coming back to pick up my new frames. Thank you Chris.
I needed to buy my first pair of prescriptive lenses and had gone to 3 different optician stores . I chose Raymond Opticians in Tarrytown because of the customer service I received from Ann. She understood my need for prescriptive lenses made buying them more expensive than I was comfortable with. She helped me find a frame that fit me, that I looked good in and was affordable enough that the entire purchase was somewhat reasonable for me. I greatly appreciated her customer service and, from what I found out later, her experience level. She suggested that I use their optician in the future, which I will!
Make sure the head doctor and head assistant care for you directly. Keep your wits. Place is out to lunch from my experience. They’re a quick visit during the week, that’s a positive. Wish things played out better. My orders for high-end glasses and contacts sat for weeks without being ordered...got them in a months time only after pressing each day after catching on to the mishap. They simply never put in the order. Must note, I got an eye infection from the single demo contact lens they gave me at time of visit....they never ordered the other as promised or followed up. Called day of infection and they referred me to a doctor that was OOO...and they never followed up to see how it played out...I lived, after an awful 4 days...first time ever that’s happened mind you. When they finally did obtain demo contacts and I picked them up, they were years expired and unwearable. I have no tolerance for routine stuff like placing orders I could just do online for less anymore. Over-all unpleasant experience, but wish them well in later efforts to right the situation for locals who go out of their way to bring business.
