I drive all the way from Riverside for my eye exams and glasses because this office is that good. The staff is friendly, efficient, and makes the whole process easy from beginning to end. Even the dreaded puff-of-air test is quick and painless, and they’re great about helping you find the right frames. Professional, welcoming, and well run.

There are a lot of great reviews here but I had a bad experience. I saw a certain optometrist 2 years ago and the experience was good, though I didn't like the old equipment, I decided to stick with the doctor so I called and spoke with the secretary who told me that I would have an appointment with the optometrist I had two years ago. I arrived on time to my appointment but waited about 2O mins. Fine. I'm patient enough. But then I see the doctor and she is not the same person I saw. So I was disappointed with being told incorrect information. Then I begin to talk with the optometrist and explain I would like clearer vision for reading on my progressive lenses. For some reason this turned into an uncomfortable conversation with a confused doctor that proceeded to waste both of our time and then said she was behind schedule and was late to pick up her kids and couldn't deal with explaining why she can't help me with my prescription because what I want is not possible. I was really taken aback with the obviously flustered and rushed doctor who I now realize wasted my precious yearly insured appointment. I ordered glasses with the prescription she gave me and it's horrible. So I have an upcoming appointment with a different doctor that will be out of pocket expense. I feel I am the patient paying for your services- I don't need to feel there isn't good communication or more concern for me as a patient. I'm just here trying to get a good prescription and have a pleasant experience. Would not recommend. Update: the prescription I was given here was honestly possibly spiteful or maybe the doctor is just that bad. She gave me a +2 reading when I only needed +1.50 (an additional 0.25 to what I already had) to make the reading work with my progressives. The actual prescription was also not correct. Just sad they would perform like this for a patient and be able to not have any consequences. I have glasses now by just using my old prescription and using +1.50 for reading. Fixed all the issues. No thanks to this place.

I’ve been a patient here for many years. I consider Dr Mateka my friend. She’s always willing to help me figure out my eye issues/eyeglasses with grace and always assures me my issue will be solved. Thank you for tending to your customers in such a way! God bless 🩷

Made an appointment here and missed it, got sent a 40 dollar bill but they never not once said that there’s a fee if you miss the appointment. I had no time to reschedule other wise I would have. I spoke with the better business bureau and they told me That unless I was told before hand that it’s not legal to actually charge a bill for the fee. Honestly , that should be explained before the appointment is even made. Anticipating that response since whoever runs your google page is argumentative, I made the appointment over the phone and I 100 percent was not told that there was a fee . I’m not hard of hearing, she did not mention it. If that’s how you like to scam people for money okay! But since you cannot pull this review down or delete it I will make it known. That you are this way. I spoke with the better business bureau already put in a formal complaint, You responded exactly how I pictured. Do better , and I will not be paying the 40 nor will I recommend your service to anyone, I’ll actually do the opposite! Thank you ❤️

Have been going to Redlands Optometry for years. I have been pleased with the service from scheduling my appointments to the thoroughness of my exams. They also have a decent selection of glasses. No issues with my eye glass prescriptions either. Would definitely recommend.
