The entire front staff of this office needs to be RETRAINED. There should be no reason after providing my insurance over the phone, in person upon walk-in, and after waiting 26 minutes past my appt time that I am told my insurance is not accepted. That is something the front desk staff should have told me as soon as I provided it to them. I drove an hour to this appt and booked it almost a month in advance. I have been coming here for 20+ years and was not even provided other options once told my insurance wasn’t accepted. Do not come here if you want your time wasted.

I had an emergency with my daughter and I was able to get an appointment with Dr. Angrist on Saturday morning. He was very gentle with my daughter and treated her right away. He provided her with the right medicine and made sure that we followed up with him. I had read the reviews the morning of and still decided to give it a shot. I guess everybody has had different experiences because I had a great experience. He’s a very capable HCP and he was very personable. I recommend.

The somerset staff is doesn’t know how to talk with the patient, speaks rudely with arrogance. I call for schedule an appointment and the lady yielding on phone and talks loudly and rudely, I cancel to go for my eye exam.

Dr. Angrist is truly an exceptional eye doctor. My family and I have trusted him for many years for our routine eye exams, and his care and attention are unmatched. He is thorough in his exams, clearly explains what’s going on, and provides accurate, timely referrals to specialists when needed. It’s rare to find a local optometrist who is this hands-on and genuinely cares about his patients’ eye health. Highly recommend—Dr. Angrist is simply the best!

This doctor does as he pleases. He calls patients out of order. Sometimes can't even understand what he is saying. The reception area is run down with almost all chairs worn out.
