No place is perfect, but what is lacking is small compared to the benefits that it has. A great staff and a safe and welcoming environment have made all the difference in my recovery at River Place. If you need help give em a look. The clinical team has been a Godsend in my life.

Dirty place. Moldy, dishonest. Lie to you if you ask questions. Horrible place. Only for low income govt paid. Find a different place. Like being in jail! If you ask if you can send an occupant anything, oh yes! Then they keep it, say they can't do that. Won't talk to you or answer questions. If, they answer. I'd give a zero star if it were possible. They need to tear it down and get a government loan to build a decent place! It's all about money. Very sad situation there...
Riverplace doesn't care about anyone's soberity!!! They make up rules as they go just to make the staff look good!! I recently left there and I cant count the times several staff members said they didnt care about someone's sobriety!!!! And oh the HIPPA violations. They have cameras recording during group sessions, when and I stress when you do have a "doctors" visit its thru telehealth and they have cameras recording in whats supposed to be a private conversation between doctor and client. They strip search clients just because they feel they can. Staff is always threatning clients with a discharge or "words". I don't know what happened to ARC which used to be we love you back to life, now its oh well we could care less about getting you help for your addiction, its pretty much a loosened prison camp. Its a shame that ARC has fallen into basically a human cattle farmer, unless you don't speak your mind or question things. Then and only then will someone make it thru the program. If you or any of your loved ones are seeking help with addiction I defintely would not recommend Riverplace, because staff really DOESN'T CARE ABOUT HELPING, they defintely let that be known.
This is joe rice riverplace helped me in many different ways if you really want help and if you let them they can help they helped me don't worry what other people is doing and just worry and work to try and fix your life back
My experience has been good, There is always room for improvement. is the only reason I give four stars.. I'm thankful for the staff and what I have learned there.
