Honestly Five stars for Dr. Eric and the team at Riverbend! Front desk staff Jasmine and Lupe are so friendly, polite, and professional. Lupe was extremely helpful in breaking down my insurance details so I could receive the best care possible. Dr. Eric is very knowledgeable and patient he took extra time to answer all of our questions and explain our appointment thoroughly. Great service all around!
Our family has had consistently disappointing experiences with this office, and the biggest issue has been unexpected charges and poor communication. During my appointment, I was charged an additional $50 for the doctor to briefly check my eyes after I inserted new contacts. My brother was also charged $30 because the doctor removed an eyelash that was noticed during his exam. These charges were never clearly explained in advance and only became apparent after requesting an itemized bill. My father’s experience was even more frustrating. He ordered contacts through the office and received an incorrect prescription. Rather than correcting the mistake directly, the office attempted to schedule another appointment in order to fit the correct contacts. Unexpected fees, lack of upfront disclosure, and requiring additional appointments to resolve errors create an experience that feels focused more on generating charges than providing patient care. To make matters worse, the exact same contacts are available online at significantly lower prices—even compared to purchasing through this office with insurance.
Absolutely the best eye care center I’ve been to. Dr. Woodward is very knowledgeable and nice and Lupe & Pam are the best. Would definitely recommend this practice for all your eye care needs.
I had a great experience at this office. The staff was super friendly, welcoming, and made the entire visit comfortable from start to finish. The doctor took the time to thoroughly explain what was going on with my eyes, answered all my questions, and offered clear solutions along with helpful tips to try at home. I never felt rushed and truly felt listened to. Excellent service all around — highly recommend.
