I went in this morning for my appointment and, unfortunately, arrived a little late. Despite that, I came in prepared, communicated with the staff, and they were incredibly understanding, even when I had trouble finding the building. Dr. Donohue and his staff were wonderful. I've worn glasses since I was five years old, but he still took the time to explain every part of my exam, what each result meant, and what I can expect as my vision changes with age. He never made me feel rushed. He treated me with patience and kindness. As someone who recently relocated, it's been difficult finding new doctors after spending years with the same providers. Leaving this appointment, I felt confident that I made the right decision choosing Dr. Donohue as my ophthalmologist. I truly felt cared for, and I couldn't recommend this practice more!!!!!

I’m disappointed to share my recent experience with the office staff, which has been quite frustrating. After reading other reviews, it seems I’m not alone in feeling this way. Dr. Donahue, who took over from my childhood doctor, Dr. Pica, is an excellent eye doctor. However, his staff falls short in several areas. I was disheartened when they dismissed my concern about not receiving a follow-up call, calling me a liar in the process. Additionally, my attempts to communicate were met with poor service. I was told to come in on Thursday evening to pick up my contact lens, drove two hours to pick up them up a I was told I needed to return another day. Most concerning was their lack of compassion when I explained I had been out of contacts and struggling to see for weeks. Dr. Donahue is wonderful but, it’s clear his staff has significant room for improvement.

The staff is Extremely friendly and caring. The doctor engaged with my 8 year old and spoke to her in a way that made her feel comfortable. He took his time to answer any questions she had and listened patiently. Highly recommended if you have children that have a fear of doctor visits. Thank you Dr. Donohue & staff for making myself and my little girl feel comfortable.

First eye appointment ever 2 weeks ago. I saw a lot of great reviews online and they were true! The front desk staff were very polite and Dr. Donahue is an angel! I have to admit I get pretty nervous and suffer with a bit of anxiety when it comes to any doctor but he was very friendly and personable! So glad I made the choice to come here and would recommend anyone to this office. Sherry from the optical shop in the office is a doll. She was very patient and helpful with all of questions or concerns about my first pair of glasses. I am so grateful for the staff and the people who took the time to help me and made me feel very comfortable. I am certain I will be visiting this office for a very long time! Thanks to everyone in the office, Dr. Donahue and Sherry in the optical shop!

Everyone in my family from 11 year to 50 year old goes to him. He is a great doctor.
