So, I had a previous review about how snoody and rude the women in this clinic are... But this is my second experience, which only reinforced the poor level of care from experience #1. My first experience was with Dr Kate. Rushed doctor who was dismissive at best, and rude receptionist who acted literally PUT OUT to look up what insurance will cover, answer questions, or provide me the MISSING INFO left off of my prescription. I wasn't going to see them again, but my insurance doesn't have a lot of local providers... Actually I called thinking I was calling a different office, but it turns out the provider I was trying to reach, Dr Netzel is now also in this office. When I realized it was the same people, I cringed some, but I decided to give them a second chance hoping it was just a bad experience. Nope. My daughter saw Netzel elsewhere and he was nice. But this office is t worth dealing with. The lady answering the phone is JUST SOOOOOO BOTHERED by doing her job!! Everything she says comes across as the response of someone who's being just completely 100% PUT OUT by having to complete the task at hand. No matter what the task is! Just RUDE and short. She kept getting my address spelled wrong, I tried correcting her, and she just kept trying to talk over me!!! I had to TALK OVER HER to get her to REALIZE I was saying the address was I correct! Then she just short with me from that point on. Plus she expected me to pay 100+ dollars for a contact lense class because I've been out of contacts for awhile. NOT GONNA HAPPEN. I am canceling my appointment with them, and going to a provider 1town over who's receptionist can answer basic questions without an attitude, and who's entire staff doesn't treat people like trash if they don't drive a mercedes and want to spend 3 times as much on their glasses compared to other companies. This place is for rich snoods who don't expect good customer service apparently. 2 chances and they still couldn't pull it together and treat me like a paying customer should be treated. No thanks! Dr Netzel is a good doctor, its sad, he should be more properly represented. I hope he sees this and realizes he's LOSING CUSTOMERS at this location due to staff and the other doctors that have given poor service to clientele previously. (When I saw Dr Kate she was rushed and rude just like the other staff members, I didn't feel like my concerns about my vision were even taken seriously.) It was pulling teeth just to get them to give me the prescription information so that I could get glasses somewhere else!! The pupillary distance was missing, and they of course acted like it was a huge deal to provide me the info when I was forced to call back wasting more of my time because they didn't fully fill out the prescription. I promise you, if you expect good customer service, you WON'T enjoy this optometry experience. 2 tries, not one worker I would care to deal with again other than Dr Netzel who was a great doctor to my daughter at a different location.

We had a great experience here with our kiddos. We were skeptical at first switching eye doctors but we had the best experience. From the time we walked in we were greeted & helped right away. Everyone there was super sweet and professional. The lady who helped my kids get glasses was so patient when my son was being difficult. I was so embarrassed when he was being picky with glasses and she was absolutely amazing and so helpful she kept us laughing. Dr. Netzel did so well with my kids & answered our questions. My husband and I plan to switch our eye doctors & use this clinic and Dr. Netzel when we are due for our next appointment. Highly recommend this office.
Kind of disappointed because I have no insurance and dumped $280 in an exam for my daughter to get contacts. Walked away with a -0.75 Rx. My girl kept getting headaches and seeing double. Took her to Cherokee nation and had a thorough exam. She walked away with a +0.75 Rx and BIFOCALS. The service was awful. We felt rushed by doctor Kate. She seemed very cold and annoyed with us. I use to come here for my eye needs, but will defer in the future. It takes little effort when it comes to customer service. Even a smile is appreciated.
Best eye care clinic we have ever been to! The staff is warm, welcoming, and very accommodating. Great atmosphere and experienced docs/staff that run it like a well oiled machine. I have full faith that we will continue to get great care here. Thank you!!!
I always select the "hometown" business rather than the nationwide corporation, but I sure struck out on this one. Argh! I stopped in to purchase sunglasses today because they said that I could do so anytime after my previous exam. The front receptionist was welcoming and affirmed that I could, indeed, be served right away, and she motioned me into the glasses area. I walked out without purchasing after about 40 minutes of tolerating the snarky, seething, unhelpful, I-wish-you'd-go-away huffing, antagonistic treatment by a young woman in the glasses area. She couldn't (or wouldn't because I was cutting into her lunch time maybe?) answer any questions or offer any details. When she got visibly upset, huffed again, and told me that she needed to call her husband to tell him that she would be "late" (because I was taking too long and wanted to add frames to my purchase after she had FINALLY explained warranty and insurance coverage to me), I picked up my purse and left.
