This office is beautiful and the girls at the front desk are very helpful and knowledgeable!!!! Dr Schmidlap is very seasoned and down to earth and extremely nice and patient!!! He’s very smart and explains anything I don’t understand and has the latest equipment!!! He’s worth the drive if you don’t live in the area-it’s only once a year!!! And rockwall has some awesome boutiques and restaurants! Btw I just saw Robert Smiths comment and that’s not at all what I’ve experienced and I’ve been with the Dr over 15 years and same with my husband grown kids and their families they’ve only had wonderful experiences! I will say to Robert if all your experiences have been positive for all those years before there’s something to say for that! And unlike God we all have bad days.

Friendly staff with impeccable customer service. Dr. Schmidlap was extremely personable and genuinely cared about helping me address issues with my glasses and a previous prescription I received elsewhere. The entire team was also so helpful in finding the perfect glasses for me. I called several places hoping to get an appointment sooner because I was having problems, but the customer service at other offices was honestly discouraging. Even though the appointment here was farther out than I’d hoped, I booked anyway because of how kind and professional they were—and it was absolutely worth the wait. Don’t go to a chain—go here!

Been going for a few years now as a young adult. Wouldn’t go anywhere else for my Eyecare needs. I recently received contacts for the first time and the training was super easy. The staff were very patient, personable, and understanding to someone who was intimidated by the idea of contacts. (Especially trying to take them out lol.) Walked out with within half an hour wearing them home. Dr.Schmidlap is also top tier when it comes to answering various questions during eye exams. Didn’t feel rushed at all. 10/10

I’ve been going here for years and the staff and Dr. Schmidlap are always very helpful and friendly and scheduling is easy. I highly recommend them!

Rockwall Percision Eye Care was very kind, patience and caring with my Mother-In-Law who is wheel chair bound. I can't thank you enough for the patience you showed during our visit and all the accommodations you made! I also get my glasses here and have them been for a few years. I enjoy the visits and staff.
