Odd that they can bombard you with emails, texts, and mailers asking you to schedule an appointment, text and email you a confirmation after you schedule your appointment, text/email you several times leading up to your appointment with an option to confirm via text, but there’s no text/email when they cancel your appointment out of spite because you’ve previously had to reschedule other appointments. They insisted they called me but I have no calls from them and I’d already confirmed via text. Drove down there for nothing to find out they’d cancelled my appointment sometime after my last email reminder 7 days before, but didn’t let me know! Won’t be returning. Who needs a petty eye doctor.

After two average experiences with other eye doctors in Baltimore, I decided to try Roland Park Vision—and I’m so glad I did. Dr. Scheff gave me the most thorough eye exam I’ve ever had, including the option to use a digital camera instead of eye drops, which I’d never been offered before. I’ve always struggled with contact lens comfort, but Dr. Scheff performed a detailed exam, even checking for dryness. I’m now on day two with my new contacts, and they’re the most comfortable I’ve ever worn. The staff is warm and welcoming, the office is beautiful, and the glasses selection is fantastic. Special thanks to Darrien in the front office for wonderful energy on a rainy day and great suggestions for flattering frames.
Dr Scheff and the team is amazing and friendly. Reasonable pricing and good selection of frames. Have recommended to friends and family any time someone needs an optometrist.
Unfortunately, I did not have the best experience here on June 20, 2026. I came in as a walk-in patient with an eye emergency. While attempting to see if I could be seen, I was asked about my symptoms and was told by the receptionist (per the doctor who had not seen my eyes) to go home and put a warm compress on my eye for a few days. Mind you, my eye was visibly red, running and I explained that I was in pain for more than a week. In short, I left, went to another ophthalmologist and was diagnosed with a torn cornea. While I understand that the Roland Park Vision team may not have had the capacity to see me...please stop diagnosing patients without seeing them.
The constant quality of care and upgrade of equipment and option for eye care and diagnosis. This is family base office whether biology father to son hand over to the staff friendly and remembering you from year to year of your visit. The new equipment that they are introducing is up to date for care and services.
