I finally found a great eye doctor this year, and I’m so glad I did. The doctor is extremely patient, attentive, and responsible, taking the time to explain everything clearly and making me feel comfortable throughout the visits. The front desk staff also very kind responsive-they reply to messages promptly and are always helpful with scheduling and questions. Another big plus is that the doctor speaks both English and Chinese, which makes communication much easier. This is wonderful option for Chinese-speaking patients.
We thought this place was good at first because they have Christian sings everywhere in the clinic and they play worship music always but Something is seriously wrong here. The doctor hires staff that cannot properly get the tests done. It wasted us so much time repeating the tests and get wrong results and they made appointments for you again and again without you even knowing it when they know your insurance covers the tests. We don’t know at first since it’s the first time my kids need glasses but eventually my kids refused to go there and I found a different doctor that I know that a lot of things were unnecessary that it is just near sight. Then when they call to say they have appointments again and when I told them we are not coming back, they started to say we have unpaid bills from a year ago that insurance not covered. I’m going to report them to Medicaid from cheating. And the worst part is they are cheating in Jesus name….
If I could rate this place 0 I would. The front desk lady and the assistant were very sweet and nice but the dr himself is SO RUDE. I was in the office for a total of about 2 hours, when my daughter finally got in with the Dr , no greeting no apology just straight to the exam and was super rude and short with her. Mind you she’s 14 so for him to treat such a young patient so rude irked me. His office also charged Medicaid patients for glasses, I refused and went to visionworks to order her glasses where we paid $0. Then he made an appointment for her regarding something about her eye? He didn’t even fully explain just said to come back, which I won’t be doing. Save yourself the trip and book at a franchise, like visionworks. Sadly they are rated on there customer service unlike this small business that he can treat people how he wants.
They are the best! The staff are friendly and professional. Dr. Tao is thorough and kind. And, they are good about working with you, and your insurance, to give you the best results.
