I hardly ever write poor reviews but last week I had the worst reception experience I have had yet in a doctor's office. Rude front desk staff. Dismissive, insulting, patronizing, unhelpful. Even though i had my insurance card and had a copy of my managed care card and all pertinent member and group numbers, they insisted that i needed the original managed care card to see the doctor. This has never happened to me before. I suggested that perhaps they could call the managed care to verify, they refused and told me to leave. After traveling over an hour to get there during a pandemic and despite the fact that I needed medical attention for my eye, they made a scene and all but physically kicked me out of the office. There two women rolled their eyes at each other. "You need to be leave here. Go," the younger one said. There other people in the waiting area seemed just as shocked as I was. I was too surprised to respond and just left. I hear good things about the doctor but the front desk staff ruins everything.

Honestly the worst reception work here. Not only do I not get a call confirming my appointment I call in to confirm and I’m told my appointment is at 4:45pm when I inform them that is incorrect they get a attitude and suddenly it’s back at 2pm. When I ask why I didn’t receive a confirmation call I’m told 1. I don’t know it’s confirmed 2. Your VM was full 3. My coworker called you from home 4. My lines are ringing you need to hang up. Honestly nasty nasty people working here. I came in because of issues with my eyes honestly was not impressed with Raphael E. Rosenbaum looked at me for 5 minutes and didn’t even schedule a follow up. Issue continues and had to make a second appointment to follow up. Honestly both the Dr & receptionist act like I’m interrupting them. If you want to be treated with respect do not go here. I will be visiting another DR.

They are very unaccommodating to new patients with emergency issues. And once one does get accepted, the wait time to be seen is endless. Staff at receptionists are terribly rude, no etiquette whatsoever.
