I normally try to be understanding, but I feel like I need to share this experience so other parents are aware. I stopped by around 12:43 to pick up my kids’ glasses, not realizing they were closed for lunch from 12:30–1:00. I completely understand the need for breaks, but the way I was spoken to was very rude and dismissive. The glasses were right beside the employee, and I was simply trying to grab them quickly so I could get my kids to school on time. It could have been handled with basic kindness and respect. What truly concerns me, though, is what happened during our appointment. The doctor’s behavior toward my 14-year-old daughter was completely inappropriate and made all of us uncomfortable. At first, he made a comment suggesting she might be having trouble seeing because she was “looking at boys.” We initially brushed it off as an awkward joke, but it didn’t stop there. He continued making repeated comments about her appearance, focusing on how “pretty” she is, and even compared her to his own daughters by calling them “fat and ugly.” He then went on to say that if he were younger, he would be “chasing” her. This was not said once in passing—it was repeated enough that it became extremely uncomfortable for my daughter, my 16-year-old son, and myself. This is a grown medical professional speaking this way to a minor during a medical appointment. That is not appropriate under any circumstance. A doctor’s office should be a safe and professional environment, especially for children, and this experience was the opposite. Because of this, I will not be bringing my kids back here. I strongly encourage other parents to be cautious. If I could give zero stars to leave this review, I would!
