Our experience with the staff was great but the amount of time we spent just waiting was ridiculous. We arrived for my mother’s 3:45p appointment and had to wait in line for atleast 7-10 mins just to check in. Then we weren’t called back for the examination until 4:45p. The exam went pretty fast but we’re now waiting in the waiting room at 5:04p to be checked by the doctor. The exam tech did eventually apologize for the wait, stating that they’re running a little behind today, but waiting a full hour to be seen without any type of warning or immediate apology is unacceptable.

Dr Jessica Sawyer, O.D. Is amazing. She’s easy to talk to and explain things in simple ways. She’s great about least invasive kinds of treatment options. She has the vibe of an extremely smart and calm, medical professional. I loved her.

Dr. Pikey was fantastic. He explained what is going on with my eye, and answered any questions I had. The front desk staff were kind and polite, and I was greeted as soon as I walked in the door. The techs were fantastic as well. I would recommend this staff to anyone and everyone who needs them.

I came along with my HomeCare client to his eye appointment. My client has Alzheimer’s disease and it was very difficult to get his appointment completed. The tech named John was so very patient. I’m sure it was probably a more difficult appointment, and was surely a little bit frustrating. But I really appreciated the way he handled things with patience and kindness. Sabates was a very nice place to come!
