My mom is very particular about what kind of frame she chooses, color is super important, and we have not found a helpful Optical willing to work with us, until we found Sakonnet Eye Care! Bridget is a great Optician with a lot of brand and lens knowledge, and it was so great working with her. The Optical is bright, beautiful, and there are many options. Thank you for your help we will definitely be back!
Dr is knowledgeable. The office staff is unprofessional and immature and unfortunately we are leaving. I did call and talk to the Dr and her response was to find another eye Dr.
I loved Sakonnet Eye Care. Had my very first visit today for eye exam and glasses, they were very accommodating and answered every question. I had to pay some out-of-pocket fees, but that's just insurance. I encountered 4 people, reception, basic exam and info, the doctor and finally glasses person. They were exceptional.
Sakonnet Eye Care helped me after experiencing an eye injury. They were accomodating, reassuring, supportive and went above and beyond! I was squeezed into their busy schedule, 2 days in a row and then the Doctor saw me on a Saturday when she was off! I felt much better after just two days following my injury, and that wouldn't have happened if it wasn't for this team.
Sorry to say, my experience here was less than good. After 5 weeks, and 4 trips over the Newport Bridge, the 3rd set of glasses I finally got, work about as well as what I would get at the dollar store, not the $270 I paid, and the other $500 they billed the insurance company. Wasted my time, gas, tolls, and only offered an "I'm sorry". I would have thought that as my wife and I were new clients, driving over there, they would have been more accommodating. We won't be back.
