My husband and I arrived to Sams Club optical in Elmsford NY without an appointment on a Sunday afternoon. I had tried to call them for an appointment the day before and that Sunday morning on numerous occasions but no one simply answered the phone. We expected to wait and while it was busy, the doctor there was able to accommodate one of us which wasn’t that bad. The male doctor was professional and courteous during the examination with me. We went back a few days later for my husband to be seen this time with an appointment at 5:30. I arrived before my husband at 5:15 to choose frames. The covering doctor Dr. Lee didn’t know how to order the frames (she was alone) so I would have to come back yet again. She also informed it would take 10 days from the date of order to get the glasses. I was annoyed to say the least. I told Dr. lee that my husband was on his way and she said with some indignance “good because i leave at 6.” I let the comment go. My husband arrived and was hurriedly seen. The examination was professional. When I tried to pay the $10 copay in cash, she grabbed the bill and gave it back to me and she said verbatim, waving her hand “don’t worry about it” - she clearly did not know how to work the register or the system and was in a rush to leave. She gave us my husbands prescription and I asked for a copy of my mine knowing I would not do business further with Sams optical. She said she didn’t have access to it. I called the next day to get my prescription and was informed that only the doctor who did the examination was able to write it and he wouldn’t return for two weeks. A few days later I received a call from a worker “Bill” who was asking about my husbands copay. I explained what happened and what Dr. lee had said and he said nastily “well you still owe it.” I was not trying to shirk my responsibility of paying but when a doctor literally returns your money to your hand I assumed she meant “don’t worry about it. “ I asked about my prescription. He said the doctor who did my examination had taken my file home (really??? Does HIPAA mean anything to this óptical practice???) but he could fax it over the next day. The next day I got my prescription and paid the 10 bucks. I will never return here again and I don’t recommend you do either.

Dr. Lee was very through in her eye examination and explained the process. Did tried to call a few times to make appointment, when someone finally did answer the phone, I was able to make a same day appointment. Friendly and helpful.
Very thorough and professional including the opticians. Excellent service and policy. I ve gotten my glasses here for several years and will continue to. Prices are right too!!
Very friendly service. Very quick in contacting my insurance and get things done. One guy named Mohammed was really giving good suggestions.
Poor quality and the customer service is shockingly terrible, returned my frames and lens scratched badly.
