Sam's Club Optical

I cannot recommend Kelly’s team at the Sam’s Club Optical enough. If you are looking for a place where you aren't just another name on a clipboard, this is it. The staff here is unbelievably friendly. From the second I walked in, they made me feel like an old friend; the kind of warm, genuine welcome that is far too rare these days. They managed to turn a routine errand into a truly pleasant experience. What truly impressed me was the extra care they took with my insurance. There were some minor hurdles with my provider (shocking!), but the team didn't blink. They were incredibly patient and diligent, navigating the issues to ensure everything was applied properly so I didn't have to worry about it. If you want top-tier service from a team that actually cares about their customers, go see Kelly and her crew. Five stars all the way!

I was thoroughly pleased about my experience at the Optical Center. Kelley, Alenah, and Jazmin walked me through the process, calmed my nerves during the exam (I was very nervous about the eye puff test) and worked with me in picking the best frames. I've never really had to wear glasses and have not had an eye exam since my not so pleasant experience at another optical center years ago. This was all completely foreign to me and a bit intimidating. Dr. Wieczorek was very informative and discussed my concerns in detail and in a manner that did not feel as if she was talking over my head. We discussed my options and she advised me to return if I noticed any discomfort so she can assist me in a different prescription. Now I wear my glasses every single day, sometimes while out socially as I love the way they look! While waiting for my order, I noticed shoppers that visited the optical center seemed happy to see the staff. Each time a client walked over Kelley, Alenah, or Jazmin immediately greeted them and would begin to help them. Jazmin even recommended some delicious BBQ sauce that I now love! I really appreciated the care and attention I received and highly recommend.

Avoid at all cost, if there are other options go to them. I had to cancel my prescription contact order because they were taking too long, almost 2 weeks. They told me it would arrive in a few days, then excuses came in for the delay due to the holiday weekend, then my prescription is too high therefore it is back ordered, and then it was accidentally canceled etc. I finally spoke with the manager and told me to obtain my contacts through somewhere else because they do not know when contacts would arrive. So that is what I did, cancelled them and took my business elsewhere and so should future consumers.

Wouldn't even give this place 1 star, but I have to otherwise it wouldn't let me post this review. The doctor was a mess and she did my eye exams the wrong way 2 years in a row. She never dilated my pupils and now my prescription is double what it used to be. Because of this I'm having a very difficult time finding contact lenses that fit the criteria my new eye doctor works with and don't cause me headaches. Wouldn't waste my time here. The only decent thing here is the frames, that's it.
