Tim Brown
Tim Brown a year ago

I’ve used this Sam’s Club location a couple of times over the years to update the lenses in my glasses, and each experience has been excellent. The first time, several years ago, I believe Mike Brown helped me. He was able to get my PD (pupillary distance) and alignment better than the original lenses, and at a price that beat the competition. Most recently, Nichole assisted me with another lens update. She took her time to ensure the PD measurements were specific to me, including a small height difference between my pupils, in addition to the correct distance. The result has been lenses that are much more comfortable—especially for computer use. I had previously returned to my original optician to question the PD on my old lenses, but they simply remeasured with their tool, repeated the same numbers, and told me the glasses were made correctly. Nichole, by contrast, listened carefully and recommended computer lenses with the correction centered for my monitor distance. Those are now on order for my older frames. I also appreciate that this location doesn’t rely on a “take a number” or smartphone check-in system designed to rush people through. You feel like you’re being helped, not processed.
