for the first time I got my yearly eye exam at SAMs on El Camino, Springfield MO. To my surprise the person that did the exam is an optometrist and he could not prescribe my Xiidra eye drops that I've been getting for the last few years. Now I used my yearly vision benefit so I cannot get them until next year, and I really need them for my dry eyes. I will not be going back there.

Manager of optical department provides excellent customer service. She is very knowledgeable and professional. She takes the time to make sure you receive the best possible service. Measures accurately for progressive lenses and adjusts glasses for a very comfortable fit. The department is kept very clean and well organized. Competative prices. Quality products. Great place to shop for glasses.
Went here last time I was due for an eye exam and was happy with the exam itself but when I finally got my new progressive lense glasses the left lense was not right. I took them back because I could tell something wasn’t right and was told twice that I just needed to get used to progressive lenses and even if there was a problem with the lense there was nothing they could do about it. Fast forward 1.5 years and I went to another place in town and finally my glasses are right. Probably won’t go back to Sam’s optical.
Be ready to wait for 20 minutes plus even if it's just for a simple question. Poor customer service.
