Dr Dyer deserves 5 starts , he is extremely professional, gives me detailed explanations on improvement etc. The 4 starts review is for wating so long to be seen. One isolated time front desk was rude to me and left me waiting while she was helping a patient set up something in her phone. That was super nice for her but my husband was late to work because she took a long time. The time waiting is worth wating due to the excellent service given by Dr Dyer ✅❤️
I had an emergency detached retina situation, and Dr. Dyer and one of his staff members came in on a Saturday morning, on his day off to laser my retina and save my vision. Every visit into either one of their locations is always as pleasant as possible, and an amazing staff. I highly recommend Dr. Dyer.
I've have kept all my appointments with Dr.Dyer and very pleased. Dr. Dyer is very professional, he explains in good details. Listens to my questions. His staff is very professional and polite. I like my doctor very much. Dr. Dyer and his staff are Great!
Heed the WARNING! I hope and pray this review will cause this medical facility to correct their errors. I was referred by Dr. Reyna and scheduled an appt at 7:50a.m. w/the Retina Specialist, Dr Dyer. Sadly, i showed up to Dr. Dyer’s office & was sent home lacking info. I reached out by phone and email to the Mgr, Mr. Blaze Ramirez who did NOT return my calls or emails. After repeated attempts, and finally speaking w/him, he rescheduled my appt & confirmed my ppwk. The door entrance of the bldg is dirty, in need of repairs, some seats are torn In the waiting rooms, as well as the bathrooms in need of attention. On my return visit the front desk clerk Maria, showed favoritism to certain patients. The patient, Mrs. Rico arrived after myself and several patients and was admitted immediately. I tried overlooking the situation. Once called, the staff member asked, “are floaters why you here?” I said yes as well as more detailed reasons. I was examined and I questioned if the dilating drops being administered, by the staff member, had actually landed in my eye. She replied, “it was fine.” She then ran a test as I looked into a machine. I said the star i was supposed to see was not in the picture and was not visible. She replied, “the machine will adjust itself.” I was sent to a secondary waiting area. I had a conversation w/a gentleman who arrived after me. He confirmed his appt was after mine but yet was seen before me. He stated he’s been a patient for 2 yrs and confirmed the staff treats patients inappropriately. He stated one day he had an 8am appt & was there till 5pm. The reason he returns is because it is near his home. He also stated, he’s only seen & met the Dr once, All other times he is seen by a Nurse Practitioner. I was then greeted by Mr. Blaze Ramirez, who walked me into an examination room. I mentioned his facility and staff are in need of help. He sarcastically replied, “Thank you for sharing this,” and walked out of the room. I am finally seen by Dr. Dyer. He stated to Mr. Blaze the staff member that took my images needs to be retrained. The images were not taken properly. He was very thorough and also questioned if floaters was the purpose of my appt.? I expressed my frustration. I had detailed concerns that were discovered by the referring ophthalmologist, Dr. Reyna. He apologized & stated, “Dr. Reyna noted the details at the end of his referring report.” Once finished and being discharged, I expressed my frustration w/Maria when she attempted to schedule a 6 month follow up appt. I told her I would Absolutely not be returning. I expressed how disappointed I was w/her favoritism. She explained people had earlier appointments. I stated that may be so, however, I named & confirmed the patients she admitted, that had later appointments. I stated that was unacceptable. Maria apologized. This place seems like a very routine and unprofessional medical facility. I will NOT be returning for any of their services.
