Sandra Collazo

I have been going to Dr. Collazo for years. My whole family of 7. She is amazing and has very good bedside manner. She is patient , thorough and informative. I recommend her to anyone in the Houston area. It is a small office but she is efficient and my appointments have always been quick. Her prices are reasonable as well.

As you all can see that most of the reviews for Dr. Sandra is 1 star. I wish I could have given her ZERO. I am a Sam’s Club member and I had very bad experience visiting to Dr. Sandra. I did my most recent prescription from abroad and it was just few weeks ago. I lost my prescription during travel and I just wanted doctor to read my glasses in the machine and tell me the numbers because I didn’t have to do an eye exam again because It was recently done. I went to the reception and receptionist ask doctor if she can help me but I saw doctor telling receptionist to say NO to me. She said don’t do it, then receptionist came out and said that they cannot read my glasses because the machine can’t read it. The other lady who was working in the Sam’s Club Optical Center literally sent me to the doctor while saying that doctor will be able to help me because the machine which she has is accurate. That machine can read my glasses accurately. I was so surprised to see that being a doctor was so easy for her to tell straight up no to me rather than trying to help me. A doctor’s job should be able to help people not to make business out of someone’s vulnerability. Dr. Sandra is not a doctor, She is a business.

I have come here for over 20 years, Mrs Collazo has always been delightful, I don't understand the bad reviews. She gets very busy from her existing tenure customers , im assuming the wait times is just normal due to the size of the office itself. Ppl need to stop moaning and bickering over anything.

After over 20 years of loyalty to Dr. Collazo, today was deeply disappointing. Appointment or not, this place clearly no longer values patients’ time, they double book without hesitation. When I questioned the delay, the front desk woman bluntly said they accept walk-ins even if they have scheduled appointments, as if that made it okay. She even pointed out that some patients have waited up to two hours, like I should be grateful mine was only 48 minutes late. The dismissive attitude and lack of basic professionalism from the front desk staff were incredibly frustrating, especially after so many years of commitment to this practice.

Dr. Collazo is exceptional, my entire family has gone to her for years. While it is true that the front desk lady isn’t the nicest, it shouldn’t stop you from seeing Dr. Collazo. Hopefully she soon finds a replacement for the front desk. She deserves a team as fantastic as her.
