This place was sooo great. From the moment I stepped in, the front desk receptionists were super cute and sweet. The actual eye exam process was very easy and timely. They walked me through every step of the process and answered all of my questions perfectly. Dr. Sherman was super friendly and knowledgeable. She sincerely seemed to care about her work, me, and her team. On the frames floor, I was greeted with the absolute best personality and kindness I’ve ever experienced in a care setting. My friend here walked me through every step of the way. Everyone who works here has A+ personality, hospitality, and knowledge. I’m so happy I decided to come here!

I had a very positive experience with Dr. Sherman and her staff. Dr. Sherman took the time to listen to my concerns and explained the assessment results in a clear and easy-to-understand way. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and punctual, which made the entire process smooth and comfortable. I highly recommend this practice.
Dr Taylor and Kayla made impressions of my eyes and were able to order contact lenses that were a much better fit. The increased comfort level allows me to wear them longer each day. They spend as much time as needed to make sure I have safe and comfortable fitting lenses. They are always professional and very friendly. I am very pleased with the level of personal service provided by Sansbury Eye Center.
Dr James Taylor has been my physician for nearly 35 years. I had serious corneal trauma as a child and he has made a difference in my life when other physicians said I could not be fitted with a contact on that eye. He is a true professional and just a great human being. His support staff is personable, professional, and just fun to work with as well. They all are a 10!
Very disappointing experience at the Forest Acres location. The only reason I went for an eye exam was because I needed to renew my license and have Sansbury submit a Certificate of Vision Examination to the DMV. They incorrectly completed and submitted it, which resulted in my driver’s license being issued with a corrective lens restriction that I do not need. Fixing their error has cost me additional time, effort, and money. When I returned to address it, the office manager was dismissive and unhelpful, taking no accountability and offering no meaningful solution. This was a preventable mistake with real consequences, and the lack of ownership made it worse. I would strongly encourage anyone who uses this office to double check all paperwork before Sansbury submits it to the DMV. I will not be returning and will not give them my business again.
