I didn't check reviews prior to making an appointment, but was surprised to see a 3 star rating after the fact. Our appointment was during a busier time in the day, so it was a bit crowded in the office since it's on the smaller side. However, even so, staff and doctor were pleasant and the appointment was completed without issue. I felt like the doctor was very competent and helpful. When calling to make the appointment, staff was very friendly and helpful, same at/during the appointment. Recommend and will continue going going here.

I found this office through my insurance as they are one of the few in San Diego that accept medical insurance. I came here in the past over a year ago and had a not so good experience with the employees, so we started going to Costco instead. We decided to give them another shot recently as they are close and accept our insurance, and we are so glad we did. The difference in employees is like night and day. The two staff in the front, Davina and Luan, are so informed and patient, answered all of our questions thoroughly. We had to bring my son back for a medical visit, and they helped explained every step to ease our concerns and worries. They had a wide selection of frames to pick from that were covered by insurance, so we did not have to pay anything out of pocket. It's nice to see that some offices still have that as an option. Dr. Phung is very professional and provided a very full, comprehensive examination both times. You can tell that he loves his job and is passionate about his work.

Staff was nice and the glasses I received came out perfect. Definitely my go to Optometric Center.

I haven't replaced my glasses in forever and they helped me pick out a frame that looked great! I went through many frames but they were still very patient and willing to go through the trouble of finding the frame that fit my face perfectly. Very friendly and experienced in their field of profession :)

Great staff! Amazing doctor! All very friendly and thorough, highly recommend. Appointment took longer than expected. Clearly understaffed from lack of communication
