Both Dr. Shamim and Dr. Tasneem was very good and caring doctor. Staff is very good and coordinating too. Even during COVID days, they are taking good care. Dr. Ahmed, who worked here and attended me for my eyes checkup was also very good doctor.
**update review** It is absolutely accurate to state that this office has failed to provide proper diagnosis and guidance, both in the past and in recent visits. Referring to a neurologist as a “brain doctor” did happen, and dismissive comments like that are exactly why patients lose trust. A medical office should be able to identify serious conditions such as tumors, ocular strokes, or other critical issues rather than brushing patients off with vague suggestions. There is no need for me to contact your office again. The pattern is clear: misdiagnosis, lack of thorough evaluation, and a focus on quick prescriptions over evidence-based care. Patients deserve doctors who are current with medical standards and who prioritize safety over profit. Unfortunately, that has not been my family’s experience with this practice. previous review: I have to leave an honest review after multiple experiences with this office, and I cannot recommend them. Twice in my mother’s life—once back in 2009 and again recently—this office failed to provide an accurate diagnosis. Instead of thorough evaluations, we were met with vague suggestions and even comments like, “Have you seen a brain doctor?” as if guessing could replace proper medical guidance. They do not provide accurate referrals and seem to play around rather than give clear, evidence-based direction. As a healthcare professional, this is deeply concerning. Proper diagnosis and timely, precise referrals can save a patient’s life, but this office operates as if a quick prescription or casual suggestion is enough. It isn’t. Patient safety must come first, and this practice is not meeting that standard. For anyone who values their health or their loved ones, DO NOT go here!
This clinic is really busy , Wait times can be longer but I wouldn't go to any other rye doctor. Dr Tasneem is really thorough with her check ups and takes time to explain her patients. She does alot of cataract surgery and I've seen patients say that they got new life. It's and old but very experienced practice. You might not get appointment right away but it's definitely worth the wait and the staff does accommodates if it's an emergency.
The office staff has no manners and are disorganized, which I think as important as having a good doctor. I was given an appointment to another physician at the practice after 2 weeks.on October 4th 2023 I rescheduled my meetings at work and made sure that i got there 10 minutes before my appointment. When I got there I was told that doctor would not see me and I had an outstanding balance of $35 from 2016 which was a total surprise to me. I never got any letter or call from their office though they had all the information in their records. My question to them was- What was it for? Why wasn't I made aware of it at the time when I called to make appointment and never received any call or letter from your office but they had no answer to that. The lady simply told me to move to the next window which was a woman sitting right next to her. I know that I paid my copay and anything I owed right after seeing the doctor which is always a practice in doctors 'office. For me It wasn't about paying the money, it's about them handling it so poorly and being rude about it and not to forget their extreme disorganized practice. Honestly they could charge me for anything and just claim that I owe them that money I wouldn't even know. I left the office in distress and upset and ofcourse wouldn't go back there. I did find another ophthalmologist and satisfied with them which I will write the review on their page. Please save yourself a trip and find another place because it's not just finding the right doctor the office and staff interactions are also as important. I feel so cheated because I had referred many of my friends and family to this place in past few years but wouldn't recommend now. Honestly this wasn't the first time experiencing the rudness from the staff here but this time it reached my threshold. There are many other good doctors with decent office staff.
