My fiance went there for eye exam, contact lens exam and he purchased glasses. He spent over $800. He called to order contacts and realized that that was going to cost another $300-$400. He may have misplaced the original receipts and prescriptions, so he made a call asking for a copy of his contact lens prescription emailed to him so he could look for a more affordable option for contact lenses. When he called, they said yes, we'll email that over. Weeks went by and no email. He called back and they then told him, "No, we will not email you your prescription until you purchase contacts from us first." As long as that prescription is paid for it needs to be released to the customer. A customer has the legal right to go to any retail location they choose with their valid prescription. It's not ok to force people to spend more money than maybe they can afford. Very unethical practices just for a money grab.

Christy, General Manager, at Shopko Optical in Suamico was so friendly and took the time to work with me on the busiest day of the year. She helped figure out my insurance and my flex fund to get the best deal. I walked out with 2 pairs of glasses and a box of contact lenses. Best experience I’ve ever had with an eye wear purchase!!!

Been a customer for years and will not be back!..When I tried to schedule an appointment for Dr Mueller nobody answers and it took them a long time to call back and schedule. Then when I did they called me a few hours before the appointment to let me know they need to reschedule due to Dr being sick(understand). I called back to reschedule which was 12:45. Did not receive any notifications on the rescheduled appointment. When I arrived I will be honest I was a few minutes late due to construction. I waited for around 10 minutes with nobody asking to help me. Christy asked me after waiting if I have an appointment told her yes...she told me the appointment was at 12:40 and the Dr would not see me. I told her it was at 12:45 ..she argued with me then said she called my husband's number and left a message. I tried to explain no she talked right to me the day they had to reschedule...she was rude and short and said she cannot help me. I made it clear that I will not be back and will let cooperate know this...I did call cooperate for awareness on how poor and rude of service this site turned into and will not be back. Also standing and waiting I noticed an employee - dark hair women with a tattoo on her arm talking very rudely to an elder man when he was trying to pick out glasses that suited his needs.

I am so utterly disgusted and disappointed and words that I can’t openly express with Dr.Mueller. I will express this to anyone and everyone I know. Unfortunately, I overheard the ladies talking about how Dr.Mueller refused to see my 6 year old daughter but FAILED to contact me. Picture below of how she “contacted me” yet there was no follow up when I responded “yes.” Kudos to the male Dr. who didn’t make us feel as hopeless and the lady who did my daughters screening, I truly hope you guys have a blessed holidays, but Dr. Mueller is a disappointment. Do better Shopko.

The exam went well. The doctor was great. The service afterwards was bad. Horrible!
