Sight Med Doctors

Dr. Scandiffio and technician Denise examined my eyes today quickly and efficiently for my annual eye exam. The doctor answered all my questions assuredly. She definitely knows what she is doing. I have been seeing her in this office for over a decade. There was no wait time for my exam after I checked in. Front desk staff is quite knowledgeable about eye insurance. The only negative is that I could never find a parking space in their 15-space parking lot. Today, 5/20/26, I had to go next door to Chase Bank and park, praying that I would not get towed.

I had an appt. @ the Sayville office with Dr. Catherine Scandiffio. The doctor is very knowledgeable, patient & friendly. The staff are friendly as well!/ I've only seen Dr. Scandiffio a few times & was very pleased with each visit!

The folks at SightMD were so personable and professional. The doctor got me my contacts prescription lickety split and was so much fun to chat with. I’ll be back next year for my next prescription!

My primary doctor suggested I go to Sight MD as I was having some concerning medical issues. When I called to make an appointment they asked me what my issues were and which site I wanted to go to. Explaining my issues it was obvious I needed an Ophthalmologist. My own ophthalmologist had past away recently. Not having been to SightMd before I wasn’t aware the appointment was made for an optometrist instead. Feeling very let down, it was even more disappointing when she told me my prescription was too strong. I see perfectly fine with my glasses and have not had any problems. Already knowing that a had cataracts that were not terrible she tried to make it sound that they were bad and suggested surgery. I would never recommend this doctor to anyone and hope the rest of the practice is not as bad.

My appointment was for 4:15 and the doctor did not see me until 5:15. Otherwise, Dr. Scandifiois the best-I won’t see anyone else! Very thorough and answers all of your questions.
