If you are an elderly or non-English speaking patient — or the family member advocating for one — proceed with extreme caution at this office. We experienced multiple serious failures in a short period of time. First, the front desk handed us a printout with a surgery appointment time that was completely wrong. We only discovered this when the surgical scheduling department called us to confirm the correct time — at which point their own rep told us that the Brentwood office is not authorized to issue those printouts, that the information on them is unreliable, and that this is a well-known, recurring problem at this location that has never been corrected. Second, multiple overlapping prescriptions were sent to our pharmacy with zero patient instruction. When we asked for clarification, office staff told us that several of the medications "do the same exact thing." So why were they all sent? The result was a flood of pharmacy calls and texts, and a confused, stressed patient with no idea what to take or when. Third, scheduling communication between this office and the surgical center is broken. We were given conflicting appointment information on more than one occasion and had to make multiple calls just to get accurate answers each time. The clinical staff may be fine. But the operational side of this office is a mess that puts vulnerable patients at risk. Verify everything independently — do not trust what you are handed at the counter.
