Dr. Bainnson is a gem! He is kind, compassionate, and an absolute expert in his field. He made my eye exam so comfortable and explained every step. I never felt rushed and he answered all of my questions with patience. He is not only brilliant at what he does, but he takes the time to really listen and make sure you understand your eye health. If you are looking for an eye doctor who combines top level skill with genuine care for his patients, Dr. Bainnson is the one.

I need to thank the staff of Sightmd in Deer Park for their kindness. My special thanks to Dr. Faye Knoll. She did my eyes surgery successfully. She puts me at ease from start to finish. She is nice and really cares about her customers. Congratulations to the whole staff. Keep doing the good job.

Appointment was at 10 AM, I was seen around 11:40 AM. I waited nearly 2 hours to speak to the specialist for about 5 minutes. I'm confident to say that all patients waiting for their respective appointments felt the same way. A few of them got up and complained with the receptionist. Others canceled their appointment after waiting for more than 1 hour. In any case, once I was able to see the specialist, she basically told me to continue the same treatment prescribed by my previous ophthalmologist and to book a follow-up if needed. Very poorly managed scheduling, they overbook and don't respect appointment times. Disappointing experience.

I would stay away from this office, specifically a doctor named Andrew Bainnson. He is incredibly dismissive and unprofessional. Throughout my visit, he seemed to base his medical opinions on personal stereotypes rather than actual science. I came in to discuss a medical window tint exemption for severe light sensitivity. Every time I tried to speak, he kept interrupting me and wouldn't let me finish a sentence. He laughed and claimed I just wanted to "black out" my car for style. I tried to explain the technical reality—that car manufacturers already put 70% dyed glass in windows which offers zero actual UV or heat protection—but he ignored me. He even claimed there is "no proof light affects eyes," which ignores the medical necessity of protective ceramic film. I also witnessed him being very disrespectful to another patient who had a language barrier. She was trying to explain that her eyes felt dry, and he was speaking loudly at her the entire visit as if she were deaf. While he eventually told her she had a different condition, he did it rudely, telling her "No you don't" regarding her symptoms instead of respectfully explaining his diagnosis. He is a gatekeeper who doesn't listen to patients or understand the actual laws and technology behind medical tint. If you want a doctor who treats people with basic decency and actually listens, go somewhere else.

I had a great experience at SightMD. The staff was friendly, professional, and efficient from check-in to checkout. The doctor took the time to explain everything clearly and made me feel comfortable throughout the visit. The office was clean, well organized, and ran on time. I would highly recommend SightMD for anyone looking for quality eye care.
