Was a recent patient of Dr. Martin, and can whole heartedly say that I would recommend him and his practice to anyone. From beginning to end my Lasik Eye surgery was smooth sailing, everyone from the Receptionists to the Surgical Coordinators and of course Dr. Martin himself were prompt, professional and incredibly accommodating. They kindly worked around my schedule and from start to finish, consult to surgery, the whole process only took 2 weeks. I am still amazed by the success of the surgery itself, and could not recommend it any more.

I had a Vıtrectomy surgery by Dr Laud.He is a very knowledgeable and professional doctor. At my final visit he explained me the healing situation that was very good. I also brought him a friend and he checked his eyes very carefully. It’s look like my friend was finaly had a reasonable answer for his long time issue with his eye-pain.He advised him to start an easy treatment . Thank you Dr Laud. By the way I appreciated very much his assistant Candy’s help.
The office was spacious and the staff was so friendly and welcoming. We got to our appointment on time and were helped right away. We did wait for a bit but that is common with a Sunday appointment. My child had no problems waiting since they did have a play area for him during waiting. The staff was so friendly and my child was comfortable when he was taking his eye exam.
I rarely write negative reviews, but after months of trying to resolve a straightforward billing issue, I feel other patients should know what to expect. Following my wife's eye surgery, SightMD owed us a refund of $2,112.82 due to an overpayment. Despite repeated telephone calls, emails, and written correspondence over several months, we received repeated assurances that the matter was "under review" or had been "escalated," yet no refund was issued. What has been most disappointing is not simply the delay, but the complete lack of accountability. No one appeared willing or able to take ownership of resolving an issue that should have been routine. We were forced to spend countless hours making calls, sending emails, documenting communications, and ultimately preparing for legal action simply to recover money that everyone acknowledged belonged to us. Patients should not have to pursue litigation or file complaints with the New York State Attorney General's Health Care Bureau to obtain a refund that is clearly owed. The physicians may provide good medical care, but the administrative and billing processes have been extremely frustrating. My hope is that SightMD improves its billing practices and responsiveness so that other patients do not have to endure the same experience. UPDATE: Update: SightMD has now responded publicly. Unfortunately, their response does not address the substance of my complaint. They apologize for my frustration but do not acknowledge that they continue to retain over $2,100 of my money, explain how this occurred, or commit to returning the funds. After months of phone calls, emails, and written correspondence, there has still been no meaningful resolution. An apology is appreciated, but accountability and returning money that is owed are what truly matter. Equally important, SightMD should investigate how this occurred and implement meaningful changes to its billing and refund procedures so that other patients are not subjected to the same unnecessary delays, financial hardship, and frustration. Patients deserve confidence that billing errors will be corrected promptly and that funds owed to them will be returned without requiring months of persistent follow-up or legal action.
I had an excellent experience with Dr Lauren Mileo. I couldn’t be more grateful for the care I received. She performed my tear duct surgery in her office with local anesthesia and successfully removed a stone that had been causing ongoing issues. From start to finish, she was incredibly patient, taking the time to explain everything clearly and answer all of my questions. Her knowledge and expertise were evident, which gave me a great sense of confidence going into the procedure. What truly stood out, though, was her kindness and calm demeanor—it made a stressful situation much easier to handle. I also want to recognize Delaney, the coordinator, who handled scheduling my procedure. She was extremely patient and accommodating, especially when I needed to make changes. Her understanding and responsiveness made the entire process much smoother. Additionally, Dr. Lauren Mileo’s assistant was wonderful—friendly, attentive, and supportive throughout my visits. I highly recommend this practice to anyone in need of specialized eye care. You will be in very capable and compassionate hands.
