Your first point of contact sets the tone of what to expect when you enter throughout the building.( comfort or anxiety). I was welcomed yesterday warmly. The gentleman at the front desk is always informative, and effective at what he does. So much happens at once and he does it all with ease and no sweat at all. There was a situation with the elevator, a resident, the phone was ringing and I was signing in. He took the time , it seemed effortlessly to take care of all of that with ease and still help me. It made me feel confident that my mom was safe and things were well.

Staff are friendly they understand behaviors of aging seniors. The facility is often clean and free of clutter. The elevators are clean and in working condition. The residents themselves are very sociable too, they know each other , they feel safe to keep their doors open, staff ask them questions about how they are doing and if they need assistance with daily living activities. Overall Amber Court in Newark meets the needs of senior residents.
