To start, I have never written a review for any goods or service I have received. I am so incredibly disappointed with the front desk service at Six One Six Vision. I had called today to have my contact prescription emailed to me so I could place an order. When I called, they originally let me know I didn’t have one from my last visit. She then said she found it but was missing a doctor’s signature on it. She said my eye doctor was out of town, and she would text one of the other doctors to see if they could sign my prescription. I asked if I could get a temporary pair of contacts in the meantime. She said she could not do that because my prescription was not signed. No apology, no, “I will try to get this done as soon as possible.” I decided to call back to see if I could get a timeline of when they would be able to get a signed copy. I have a pretty high prescription and had to put in a lower power in one eye and was pretty desperate to get my normal prescription filled. She was very rude about the whole situation. I finally asked if I could talk to the office manager. She put me on hold, came back to the phone, and said she got my prescription signed and I could pick up a trial pair of contacts. Again, no apology, and clearly, this could have been done from the very beginning. I never spoke to the office manager. I came into the office to pick up the trial pair of contacts, and everyone at the front desk was very aloof and rude. I have been a patient here for five plus years and truly love Doctor Shelby Strick. She is so personable and is excellent at her job. But because of the service I received from the front desk, I will not be a returning patient. I could understand if I was someone who abused the system to get free contacts, but I am not. I am just a busy mom who didn’t realize I was running so low on my contacts.
