South Florida Vision – Margate

Where to start. My wife had an appointment, the eye doctor was at least 45 minutes late, didn't complete all the work. It was my wife's impression that the Dr just wanted to catch up so made up an excuse as to why her eyes couldn't be dilated. Then my appointment was canceled 15 minutes before, I was almost there when they called. Next appointment they requested my insurance id card, which my insurance does not provide, not needed. The receptionist insisted I have to call my insurance. Instead of creating a scene, I left. Made an appointment at another place, when I went there to give information ahead of time, South Florida Vision must have found my insurance because they put a hold on it that had to be removed before I can go elsewhere. Very unprofessional and we will not ne returning there ever again.

I went to South Florida Vision and my insurance was considered inactive although i did have my insurance Nora at South Florida vision was so helpful and adamant about helping me and making sure I was able to get my exams and fittings done. Candi was also incredibly helpful and sweet working with a full room to accommodate everyone. Andrew the tech is an absolute master of his craft with an unmatched effort and efficiency. Nora, Fabian, Andrew, and Candi all deserve raises if you need glasses or lens and they are in your network GO HERE ASAP

I highly recommend the Margate location. Nora, Fabian and Cathy are excellent. Dr. Rehman is great. I’m very pleased with my visit. Thank you!

My wife had a terrible experience at this place. She had an appointment, yet still ended up waiting nearly three hours, and the exam wasn’t even completed properly. To make matters worse, they didn’t measure her pupillary distance (PD) during the visit. When she called afterward to ask about it, they told her they only provide that measurement if you purchase glasses from them. That feels unprofessional and misleading. Overall, very disappointing service. I would not recommend this place—there are better options out there.

I have never been mistreated in this location, I’m always welcomed nicely. They are very helpful and knowledgeable. The receptionist, Yani, is very kind and heart warming every time I visit. I nothing bad to say about this location.
