The receptionist was patient and answered questions with a smile. The work up technician was knowledgeable and had a pleasant attitude. The doctor was extremely knowledgeable, explaining diagnosis and detailed plan for treatment. My mother is elderly and was treated with respect and listened to. I highly recommend this practice.
Had a problem with tearing in my left eye. Dr. David Williams saw me the same day! I love the Clemson location! Dr. Williams is very “down to earth” but yet professional. He takes time to explain everything in layman’s terms. He is very caring and kind. His staff are very friendly and professional. Very good experience at the Clemson location. The office is in a beautiful location. Get your eyes checked and walk across the street to have a coffee or Frappuccino!
Dr. Heitman is just great. He really knows so much and helped me after 2 other eye doctors could not figure out my eye problems. He is amazing and I am so thankful to have found him.
I have had a lot of eye care done over the years, both good and bad. I can in all honesty say Southern Eye Associates checks all the good boxes. Great exam, professional staff, and great selection of eye wear. Dr. Scott is a great at answering questions in easy to understand terms, and going over treatment plans. Southern Eye Associates is the best!
I cannot recommend Dr. Mogavero highly enough! As someone whose family members, due to severe glaucoma, have for decades seen the best specialists in the world, and as the family's "resident owl" (read: the only one with 202/20 vision), I feel more qualified than most to review and evaluate the skills of Dr. Scott Mogavero (and his assistant, Elizabeth) at the Patrick Square office of Southern Eye Associates. I have never had such a thorough and enlightening eye examination as Dr. Mogavero gave me today! The man is utterly brilliant and the perfect clinician for the largely well educated patients he'll be seeing on the doorstep of Clemson University. Usually, I have a plethora of unanswered questions after seeing a specialist. Today, I felt I'd sat in on a master class in the eye. (Kudos, as well, to Elizabeth, who is thorough, professional, and kind.) Please know that to get superb care for your eyes, you no longer have to drive to Greenville or Greer.
