I recently had my yearly eye exam with Dr. O'Dell. This was my first time meeting him even though I have been a patient of Southern Eye in Greer for years. I was very impressed first with his assistant. She was very through with her exam and measurements. She even caught something that no one had ever mentioned to me before. Dr O'Dell was also very through and explained everything. He did not rush and listened to my concerns. Highly recommend him and his assistant. ( sorry I can't remember her name)

i was having problems with my eyelids they were blocking my vision. i went to talk to Dr Cole he was fantastic told me about fixing them, got me in for a field of vision test then scheduled my surgery. I was scared to death but they all made me feel comfortable,they gave me great after surgery plans and a date for post check up. I had a wonderful experience with southern Eye and especially Dr Cole

I am so pleased with my experience with Southern Eye for both my wife and me. My wife had cataract surgery by Dr. Heitman and did extremely well. I had a cataract in one eye and I had cataract removal, a drain to put in for my glaucoma, and my lens adjusted for near vision as my right eye is normal for vision. Postoperatively, my vision was 20/15 minus one. This is better than my vision was when I was an air crew in the United States, Air Force 40+ years ago. I cannot be more grateful to you for restoring my vision.

Absolutely love the people here! I like how they explain things. Dr Odell is amazing! He took time to explain what he saw and how to fix it. I felt really comfortable with him. Paula was amazing too. The lady that did my testing before seeing the Dr was super great as well. I don’t remember her name. 10/10 recommend!

The staff is very friendly and helpful. Dr. O'dell is the most awesome person. He really, really cares about his patients. He prays for you. He isn't one of these doctors that makes you feel beneath him. He's just like family taking time to talk about anything you want to talk about. I promise you, you won't find better eye care or a better doctor than Dr. O'dell.
