Southwest Health Center

Very disappointed in my visit with a doctor (Klann) who, when I researched this individual, was a provider that states he has specialties & special interest in Osteopathic Manipulation (Key principles: -Whole Person Care: Considers mind, body, and spirit. Structure-Function Relationship: Believes structure impacts function and vice versa. Self-Healing: Aims to stimulate the body's inherent ability to heal. Thought great, someone who would work with you and look outside the box of pushing "drugs" and try to help find natural ways to address issues and concerns. WRONG, here is another provider that 1.) didn't not listen to what I had to say and 2.) only wanted to push drugs or steer you down the path of putting you on drugs. I DON"T LIKE DRUGS!! It is so extremely frustrating when you search out a doctor with this specialty/special interest, and they just want to push you through and out the door with more drugs. What a waste of time and so very disappointing to say the least.

It can sometimes be hard to get an appointment, but aside from that, they are quick, kind, and listen to all your concerns and address everything thoroughly.

They have done a fine job in the past for various issues, but if you go through their radiology department: LOOK INTO WHERE THEY SEND SCANS. Madison Radiology is where they potentially send it and the experience with them has been far from enjoyable involving billing and collections. When you go to a facility, if they contract out work, you trust that they will choose a reliable firm, otherwise the fault falls onto them if the sub-contractor fails at their duties. Again, Southwest health themselves has done great work, but I'm currently frustrated figuring out this issue. Edit: They are currently working to figure the situation out for me, as it is potentially a scam? Edit 2: Emily K was extremely kind and forwarded the information on to her supervisor and stated that they would help get this figured out for me. She has been very responsive and you can tell she genuinely cares and wants to help me get this issue solved. It's very refreshing to have great customer service in today's day and age.

I've only had a good experience at the Platteville Clinic which is located at Southwest Health (they share the same building, but with 2 different entrances). The Clinic entrance is at 1450 Eastside Rd, whereas the hospital entrance is at 1400 Eastside Rd. Within the clinic is various physician offices and also a cafe/coffee shop.

Great. Place! Excellent Dr's & Counselors! Nice indoor atmosphere(including the chairs! 😂)
