Sparta Optometry

Had an eye exam. Ordered a years worth of contacts (did not pay) and the Dr never called me back after he told me he'd look into it. They never pick up their phones. I ended up taking advice from my insurance company to go somewhere else for an eye exam because he never claimed my insurance either. His loss and it's too bad because he is a nice guy and I had no problems prior, but if you can't get your business together, move on! Quit screwing with people and their time, you're giving yourself a bad rep. You've already done it in Sparta. Avoid going here, you're saving yourself time and money.

DO NOT GO HERE ANYMORE! I have been going here for most of my life but things have changed. They will schedule you an appointment but then never follow through with glasses or contacts. I have been waiting now for 5 months. They almost never respond and when they do its always a bunch of lies that amount to nothing happening. They tell you they will get back to you and never do. Both my wife and I have lost our insurance coverage for last year now and they have no response.

Husband had eye exam and needed new glasses. He was told the glasses would be in in about a week. Going on 3 months and still no glasses. When they would answer the phone, they would say that they didn't have them and that they didn't know what happened. They said that they would check into it and return call. They never would return call. Every time I would call them and they answered the phone I got the same story. Numerous times they did not answer the phone and I left messages and no return call.

Absolutely terrible business. They are never actually open during their posted hours and don’t respond to calls or emails. I’ve needed new contacts for 3 weeks and can’t get ahold of anyone for my prescription.

I had my new patient a few weeks ago and I cannot say enough good things about the staff at Sparta Optometry. Dr did an incredibly thorough exam, answered all of my questions, and prescribed some great steps for my dry eye issue. The staff were very kind and helpful! Ky was a fantastic help at picking out my frames, and ensuring my lenses would be a perfect fit. Sarah was very knowledgeable about contacts, and I am feel very at home at the practice! I cannot say enough good things! 5 very bright stars!
