I purchased a pair of Ray-Ban smart glasses from U&M Family Eyecare. When the frames developed a clear manufacturing defect, the experience with their support team was incredibly frustrating. Instead of assisting me with a standard warranty claim, the staff pressured me to pay a $125 "upgrade fee" and provided misleading information about my warranty coverage to force an unnecessary purchase. I eventually had to bypass the store entirely and contact the manufacturer directly, who not only honored the warranty but replaced and upgraded the frames from Gen 1 to Gen 2 for free. It is a shame to have such poor support after the sale, especially when they are an authorized retailer. If you want a store that will actually stand behind what they sell, I’d suggest looking elsewhere.

I absolutely love Specialty Eyecare. Dr. Bashir is simply the greatest in professionalism and integrity. She is quick to greet you with a warm smile and conversation. She’s been my optometrist for many years. Her entire staff is welcoming and supportive. I need to mention Al Brito, he’s Dr. Bashir’s Optician. Recently he assisted me with choosing the best optical frame and fit for my face. He definitely has a keen eye to help the patients with the many choices available. I would definitely recommend the services provided by Dr. Mumtaz Bashir and her staff. Thank you all for your wonderful service and hospitality.

Great customer service. The staff is well informed and Dr. Nguyen is a specialist that came into my life at the right time. Al is also really great at what he does. He is well informed and orders some of the best eyeware selections around. As long as I'm in the area, I will continue to go here.
