Spectacular Eye Care

Spectacular Eye has been the most welcoming and personal eye care center. They have taken care of my wife and I with our own individual needs and concerns. Dr. Ciesek has guided me towards healthy eye care and practices while Maggie has helped me to find glasses that suit my needs and style. Highly recommend!

I was surprised and disappointed by the scheduling policy. I attempted to book eye appointments for myself and my two daughters on the same day, which is the most practical option for a working family. I was told per Maggie, they could not schedule all three because they “can’t risk losing three open slots” if we cancel. This was very frustrating, as scheduling family members together is common practice at many medical offices and helps working parents avoid taking multiple days off. I understand offices need to manage cancellations, but in this case, the risk of potentially losing slots does not outweigh the reward of having a family of three receive new lenses and frames at the same time. Refusing to book immediate family members together creates an unnecessary inconvenience for patients trying to coordinate care responsibly. Unfortunately, this policy makes it difficult for working families to use this office. If they didn’t fill those slots, they lose business anyway - and in this case, they lost mine. Overall, it was not a very accommodating experience.

Scheduled an appointment. Called to reschedule and receptionist offered alternative times and confirmed that it has been rescheduled and verified insurance information. Shows up to appointment after taking time off work only to be told there was miscommunication and the appointment is still for the initial date. That is just highly unacceptable esp when it’s not convenient to be taking time off work for appointments, to be told it was never even scheduled. Simply booked an appointment at another practitioner with much more effective and convenient scheduling process.

My eye visit was a great experience. The staff was very kind and welcoming, and the doctor took the time to explain everything clearly. I felt comfortable during the exam and left feeling confident about my eye care

I am Dr. Ciesek’s patient and have had the most wonderful experiences every time. She is thorough, professional, knowledgeable and easy to connect with. Today I brought my child and it was amazing to watch her explain things and educate so perfectly for a child. Also, the staff is always so kind, friendly and willing to find the right appointment that works for you.
