I would like to share my appreciation for the excellent care I received from Dr. Bargoud on two recent visits. He takes the time to listen to your concerns, answer questions and explain treatment options. His professional manner and expertise made me feel confident in the care I received. I am grateful for the positive experience and high level of service provided

It was great that I was able to see Dr. Barboud so quickly after experiencing floaters in my left eye the night before. Dr. Bargoud did a thorough exam. After completing the exam he felt that I had three separate issues that weren’t concerning if they happened separately but being together he thought it best I see a retina specialist right away before the weekend and the July 4th holiday which was just around the corner. Dr. Bargoud got me an appointment with a retina specialist that same afternoon at NJRetina in Morristown. Turns out the gel was thinning above my left eye and there was a little blood besides something else which escapes me. I was a possible candidate for a detached retina down the road if I didn’t have these issues taken care of ASAP. I had a laser treatment as uncomfortable as it was but it did the trick. Still have floaters for the time being but that hopefully will lessen as time goes on. Thanks for the send off to another specialist, you both made me feel safe, comfortable and in good hands with your knowledge and expertise.

I love Dr. Leventhal and his excellent diagnostic skills and his staff is super nice as well. I just wish his scheduling was handled differently. I got there at 9:20 for a 9:30 AM appointment. They brought me in immediately and completed all of the pre-Dr questions/checks/exam and I was ready at 9:30. I proceeded to sit in the room until 10:25 for him to come into the room. I think 55 minutes waiting in an exam room is extensive. Again he’s a great doctor and the staff is nice. I just wish they would schedule him appropriately.

I called the office about a concern and was given a same day appointment with Dr Bargoud whom I’ve never met before. He was pleasant, explained what his was going to do before he proceeded and repeatedly asked if I was ok. I felt very comfortable with his skills and knowledge. I would definitely recommend him and Dr Leventhal.

I highly recommend Berkeley Heights Eye Group. I was able to get a same day appointment for urgent care. The office staff were very pleasant and efficient. I saw Dr Bargoud and he was great. A pleasant technician first greeted me and performed some initial visual tests. Dr Bargoud was also very pleasant and performed a thorough examination and diagnosed my condition and comprehensively described treatment options and made sure all my questions were answered. I did not feel rushed and the care was top notch.
