I have a phobia of doctors . I went there because I was having issues with my eyes . When I first walk in I got greeted very friendly by a women and men I forgot their names . Fast check in . Then Muslima the technician was supper friendly and she calm my nerves 😬 and anxiety . After exams DR Rossouli showed up did another exam . Explained very detailed what was happening with my eyes and he gave me peace of mind . They’re awesome , very good team I highly recommend them .

As a doctor, I have always found Spectrum Eye Institute to provide excellent care to the patients I have referred there. As a patient, I saw Dr. Lelis and received the same excellent care my patients described.
Scheduled my first time exam at spectrum institute weeks ago. They've been sending me text messages. Especially one just yesterday, for my appointment today saying, "we look forward to seeing you". I bring my glasses and my insurance information and my paperwork and I get here (they had weeks to check into my insurance information, which I'm on medicare) and they wait till I roll up and to Check-in, to say they can't see me today. I have to reschedule. And they don't know why?? something to do with insurance. They had weeks to look into this, especially like yesterday, the day before, or any day this week prior to today and they didn't do so and they don't contact me? Then they wait for me to walk in the door to tell me this and wonder why I'm not going to ever reschedule with them ever again. If I could give 0 stars I would.
Doctors are great, however the area that sells the glasses is horrible. It took 3 sets of glasses and 3 months to get the correct glasses. Now 5 weeks later my glasses fell apart. I will go to the doctors next exam but take the prescription else where. The surgery I had was awesome, so again great doctors. Now my wife's lenses have the anti-glare coating peeling. They said they can fix it at our cost. Don't use their lab!
I've been a patient of Dr. Ellis for 20 yrs. I have used 2 locations, joliet and new lenox. I have not had any problems with either location. Changed insurance twice and office has not had issues with them. I prefer the new lenox office for the glasses , but really both offices are good. I guess I've been lucky I have had excellent care with them.
