Cataract surgery by Dr Murakami was smooth and easy! From scheduling to execution at the surgery center in Los Gatos everything went without a hitch. I was given plenty of introductory info and had all of my questions answered quickly and professionally. Dr Murakami is as close to an angel and miracle worker I've encountered. Caring, personable, and professional. And I have to mention the front desk - Kelly is a wonder of efficiency and help who always went above and beyond to help and keep me informed. And Erin, the surgery coordinator scheduled me and responded positively to any of my odd requests. Incredible staff, incredible treatment! I recommend turnout reservation!

I have been a patient of Dr. Mastman for over 8 years now. He has a great bed side manner and listens to your concerns. He has 2 offices that I know of that he works out of. He gets 2 thumbs up in my book

Dr. Mastman is very knowledgeable, polite and professional. He patiently answered all my questions and explained the prescription he was going to send to my pharmacy. All the staff members were polite and professional. The woman who checked my paperwork and insurance was very polite and said, “welcome to our office,” when she noticed that I’m a new patient. The medical assistant or nurse was very nice and went out of her way to show me the eyelid scrubs that they recommend. I highly recommend this office.

Very very poor service for eyeglass prescription. Was given a receipt that reflected a phone number which when I called I’d not an existing number. Called the main number and was on hold then got hang up twice. Very poor service to patients from eyeglasses side.

I've been a patient for about two years and I like this place. I've been to other opticians where I felt as if they were trying to upsell exams and glasses, but that's not the situation here at Spectrum Eye Physicians. The only problem I had was that even though I had the contact lens exam, which I think was an extra $85, we couldn't find a pair of lenses that worked for me. They gave me many samples to try, but they stuck to my eye so much I couldn't get them out. I don't have dry eyes and I've never had a problem when I used contact lenses years ago. But, I don't think this is Spectrum's fault, but just rather a change in the manufacturing of the lenses or my eyes... who knows. They tried hard, and I gave up. I also very much like the woman who fits the glasses. She sits at the desk near the entrance and helps with choosing frames and then does the insurance work-up. There's just something comforting about her presence. She is very professional, knowledgeable and always follows through.
