I’ve been coming here for years now and haven’t had a complaint, yet. I even brought my son’s glasses in for repair because he broke one of the arms. The switched out the old ones and added new arms that matched for free. I’m not saying to go for free stuff, they are all nice and genuinely want to help. Give them a try…
Had a great experience a few years ago. This was the only optometrist I've ever visited that actually did a thorough job in my opinion. She saw swelling behind my eyes and referred me to an opthalmologist. After a lot of tests luckily it was determined I didn't have anything deemed too serious of a condition (but one I get check ups on yearly now). Returning soon for another eye exam. Highly recommend.
Went there on 3/3/25 to pick up my eye glasses. I brought in my own frames and had them put in Blue light filter and anti-reflective perscription lens. When I arrived to pick them up, they had a weird matrix of checkered/waffle pattern and other irregular shapes and a kind of kaleidoscope of various colors on the outside of the lens. The manager first said that the cloth they gave me was wet and that is why. I told her the cloth is not wet and I didn't have water to have gotten it wet. Besides, WATER DOES NOT DAMAGE EYEGLASS LENS. She yelled something to the younger woman. Then said it was the Blue light filter. I told her that I have glasses that have the Bue light filter and they don't look like that. She rubbed it with another cloth and gave it to me. I told her that I still see it. Her and the younger woman looked at the glasses again and were saying they don't see it. I showed them how to position the glasses to see it. They looked at it more and I kept asking if they can see it but neither would admit it. The younger woman walked away and the manager was rubbing it more and I kept on asking if she sees it now. I even had to say, "Ma'am do you hear me?" several times because she kept ignoring me asking her if she sees it. The only time I have seen something similar to that before was on old and cheap sunglasses that were donated to Goodwill or Salvation Army. The manager told me to see for a week and come back. I told her no. Based on their actions so far, I knew if I had left and came back a week later that they would deny they gave them to me like that. She then snatched the glasses from me and put them on the tray in a careless and rude type of way. She gave me back my Pink receipt paper and said they will call me. I told her that I need to scratch out my signature on the White paper that verifies I picked them up. She did not want to let me do that and kept saying the pink paper was proof. No, it is not proof. They have my signature on a paper that says I picked up my glasses and now they have my glasses that they can keep or give away. I grabbed my pen and told her I need to scratch through my name. She was giving me a hard time and I tried to get the younger woman to come over and help but she wouldn't. I think she was scared of the mgr. Then the manager took a pencil and barely touched the paper and acted like she was going over my name. She must've thought I was dumb like I don't know she can erase it when I leave. I grabbed the paper and ran my pen over my name. She was visibly annoyed that I refused to accept the glasses like they were. There is no telling what affects that stuff on the lens could've done to them in the long run. The optometrist called me the next day to ask about the glasses. I told her about the issue and her rude manager. She said she doesn't see anything and asked me to come in and show her. I researched the issue and it seems that the anti-reflective coating is damaged. When I went there to show her, the glasses no longer had the problem. I asked her what did she do. She said she "Just rubbed them". Me and the two employees all rubbed them with the cloth and it did not make a difference. Also, why would she bother "Just rubbing them" if she "didn't see anything" like she said when she was on the phone with me. There is no way that she did not replace the lens. In the end, they either did not inspect the glasses when they received them or they did and did not care that they were giving me glasses with damaged anti-reflective coating. I'm glad I was adamant about them fixing it. I wish I had taken a picture of them before they replaced the lens.
They charged me for consultation. Acted fufu said they couldn’t help me. I left and went to another optometrist and she was able to get the object out my eye easily.
