I had a great experience at this eye doctor’s office. The front desk staff were very friendly and efficient, and the technician was also kind and quick. The doctor was thorough, professional, and made me feel comfortable throughout the exam. I was in and out in less than an hour, which I really appreciated. I would definitely recommend this office to anyone looking for a smooth and positive visit!
Lack of transparency on pricing throughout the entire process — very deceiving. They advertise big discounts on contacts and a free eye exam, but when I asked beforehand about cost, I was told it "would depend on your prescription." Once I had my prescription, I was quoted a price for the contacts that was supposedly going to come down significantly because of rebates — they even showed me on screen the exact rebate amount, over $70. In the end, the actual rebate came out to just $25, nowhere near what was presented. On top of that, the contact prices there are much higher than what you'd pay buying the same contacts online. And if you decide to return/walk away, then you will get charged $200 for eye exam fee plus contact fitting fee, which I understand, but at that point I would just have gone to somewhere else to begin with. If you're paying out of pocket, I would not recommend this location. The pricing information given verbally and on-screen did not match what I actually ended up paying, and that's a serious transparency problem. If your insurance pays for it, it is just fine.
The staff here is awesome and care to take time to inform you and help you. Shonda was great, she took the time educate me about my prescription and lenses.
Eye exam experience was awful. Actually, most of the experience was uncomfortable. And of course there’s the whole mis-advertised eyeglass specials, BOGOs. Bait & switch. They try to explain if you use insurance you don’t get the advertised deals, but they can’t clearly explain why.
