I went in for a regular vision exam that is free under my insurance. Because I have floaters and macular degeneration, even though no treatment is available or was provided, he billed me under my medical insurance rather than the vision coverage. He is now billing me over $123 for a service that was not provided and refuses to correct it. I would never make an appointment for a floater as I have had them for years and know that there is no treatment. I made my appointment for my yearly vision exam so when I see that I am billed for something other than that, even though that was all that happened during my appointment, and you refuse to correct it that looks like fraud to me. I was quite clear last fall when I made the appointment that it was for my annual vision exam so if you believe that it was anything other than that then you have a serious communication problem on your end that you need to fix.

Called during business hours and left message stating my wife and I would be new customers and need eye checkup and new glasses. Left message requesting call back. Got nothing. Called again the next day. Answering machine again. I guess you have all the customers you can handle/need. Going elsewhere.

Dr. Lewis is outstanding. He takes his time to be thorough. He keeps you informed of your eye health, what to be aware of and watchful for, and to answer questions and field concerns. He goes out of his way for his patients for things such as occupational specifics that need his expertise. All of this is done in a calm, caring, thoughtful, and non-judgmental manner. You can tell he loves what he does and continues to be inquisitive of the science. I wish all doctors were of this caliber.

Dr Lewis was my eye Dr. for a couple years. I called his office on Tuesday 10/24/23 to schedule an appt because I am having an issue with my right eye. The scheduler told me the earliest I could get in was on Nov. 9th.....two weeks away. I did not want to wait that long so I scheduled a visit on 10/25/23....the next day with another. Dr. After that visit I was referred to the retina clinic in Sequim where I was told that my retina is torn by Dr. O'Malley. He told me that I need immediate surgery to repair the damage. I wanted to wait a few days but was told that I cannot delay and that I could lose vision completely. Had I waited until Nov 9th, according to two other Dr's, I would have lost vision before the appt. with Dr. Lewis. The office scheduler should have spoken with Dr. Lewis before assuming that there wasn't an urgent need to see him. Myself and my wife will no longer use Dr. Lewis for any future eye care needs.

Had my new patient exam and new prescription made and Dr Lewis was so incredibly kind and helpful. My 2m old was getting fussy during my exam and he was able to finish quickly and make us feel very comfortable.
