Store 531

I’m a very frequent Walmart shopper and this is one of my favorite locations. Polite and helpful employees, clean and well organized store. However, apparently Corporate has chosen this location as a leader in the reorganization happening in Walmarts. One thing I love about Walmart is their easy product location lookup tool. After a nice encounter in Pharmacy, things went downhill from there what happened? While keeping the product locateor the same, they have changed to large “department” signs and now minuscule Aisle Signs. They are perhaps 2.5”x4”! It took 3 employees to get me to aisle “M3”-Ugh! It took me longer to find Microfiber Towels than it took me to get milk, a salad kit, & toothpaste! Walmart, if this is the model store that others will follow, I’m less of a fan.

Over the years we have spent thousands of dollars at Walmart. I have been shopping there for over 30 years. My wife and I went to the self check out with items that did not need to be in the bagging area because of size and had 4 items in bag area. My wife was not feeling well and was distracted by that. Left the 4 items sitting there. Went to leave and employee checked receipt and left. When i got home realised we forgot those items. I am not blaming Walmart it was my fault for forgetting the items. The next day went stood in line for 30 min with receipt and told the story and to claim those four items left. She told me that because we went to the self check out that there was no way they could verify the items purchased. We are sorry but its your lost. It was only a little over 12 dollars and the items were for food. So they would have put back in stock. We bought over a hundred dollars worth that evening. Its not about the 12 dollars. Why do they have employees checking receipts when my mistake should have been caught. So either the items were put back in stock or the next check out put the items in their basket which their receipt checked should have been caught by their employee.

This store has fallen apart. Constant turnover of staff on the floor and in the deli. I don't know if there's been a store manager change and the current one just doesn't care but something has to change and soon! UPDATE: Today and for the last several times, our debit card would not work. Sometimes the card reader doesn't work when the card is inserted but works when it is swiped. Today it did not work at all even with the Walmart lady trying to help as she has done so many times in the recent past. We ended up having to write a check!!! The Walmart lady gave us a receipt with this printed on the back: "Swiped EMV cards are not allowed (FALLBACK)" The google lookup says that WALMART has a security setting that did not allow the card to be used with a swipe if the chip is present and after the chip was tried! That Walmart does not want any liabilty if there is anything wrong with the transaction!!! You have got to be kidding me! The same card worked fine in the Walmart gas station in front of the store. The same card worked perfectly at the Super1 and at the Rouses. I actually checked with our bank and the card works perfectly fine. What gives, Walmart!?!?!?! We are spending an incredible amount of money at this store EVERY WEEK! GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER AND IMPROVE YOUR BUSINESS MODEL!

The security guard this day allowed truck drivers to to park and shop . But communicated as the sign no overnight parking . But he is not the main Security Person who Doesn’t Allow Truck drivers to park and shop. Walmart will lose Money on the days main security guard is present, As a Truck driver we get No Love Here

Ms. Mayra at the front does an outstanding job with customers. She checks receipts in an efficient manner and always has a smile on her face.
