I was able to get an appointment quickly when I had an eye issue. The staff and Dr were very friendly. The Dr listened to my concerns, offered options for treatment, and let me decide which one I wanted to go with. The office also has a great membership program for people without insurance, which I would 100% take advantage of if my employer did not provide coverage. I highly recommend.
I have always gone to Walmart with my VSP insurance because I thought it was easier and cheaper. Boy was I wrong on all aspects. Sun State Eye Care in Anthem is absolutely phenomenal, the best care and prices and policies I have ever found. We walked in and were immediately accommodated, they took such good care of us and literally went above and beyond! They are our families eyeglass place for life now!! If I could give them 10 Stars I would!
Took my 5 year old son here for an eye exam and everyone was super friendly- like they genuinely cared. Process was so smooth and so well explained. Def didn't feel like I was just a number like other places. Legit the only place I'd refer after such an amazing experience
They were so kind and accommodating. I didn’t even know this little Place existed in Anthem but the doctor and staff were very kind even when I had to have a reschedule. The doctor was thorough, patient with my wild children, and very informative in all the information I needed. Will definitely go back! My boys are 6,8,&10 and they had us in and out in 45 minutes! That’s a win every time!
HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND! DO NOT GET SCAMMED! Be very careful. We confirmed our insurance in advance, but during the exam they added tests without clearly explaining they were not covered or optional. We were later billed $322 and $19. After the visit, they called asking for medical insurance and military ID—something we’ve never needed for routine vision exams. This makes it clear insurance was not properly verified before services were performed. We feel misled and taken advantage of.
