I have been coming here for a very long time because it is very accessible. I truly enjoyed the care of Doctor Desai for many years. She left and opened her own place in Irvington, NY. Out of routine, I stayed with this location and have been seeing Dr. Tummalapenta (reviewed in a different thread). I have had many experiences here, good as well as not so good. Only four nurses I noticed have stayed for a long time. In recent years there have been many others, which may be related to this place having "rotating doctors" - cardiology, dermatology. Overall the nurses are caring and easy to communicate with. The location offers many services like a larger clinic or hospital: Sonograms, EKG, metabolic panel (have not been offered for a while), stress test. One thing they are missing compared to larger facilities is a patient portal to gain access to your reports. There have been scheduling issues years ago at which I had an appointment and was rejected and did not bring my appointment card to prove it. At home, I confirmed the appointment. That was a one time off. My biggest concern is the age of the rooms and equipment. Recently, I had a cardiology appointment and the room looked like a storage space that had not been cleaned properly. It showed water leaks on the ceiling tiles. The treadmill looked aged and the EKG machine had a monitor from the 1980s. It was an old tube style monitor (green on black) that the technician tried to get working by hitting it with her fist. I suggested using one of the two unused LCD monitors, connected one and it worked but when the doctor came, she did not accept this "fix". I was rescheduled because of this ancient technology. The biggest mistake though was a prescription I was told to take before bedtime which caused insomnia. Another doctor at this time, confirmed that this was not correct. It should have been taken in the morning to prevent this severe side effect.
