I don’t have vision insurance and after having a not so great experience with another vision place, I decided to try SVS. They were very helpful and my glasses were ready in less than a week. When I went back to get them, they made sure that the fit was perfect. Their prices are reasonable and the time spent with you is really important. This will be my new vision place.

I asked the front desk if they could charge my iPhone because it was about to die before I could use Apple Pay. The ladies at the front desk refused to charge my phone even though I had my own cord. I ended up going to the grocery store in the same parking lot with my children because my car charger was charging slowly. The grocery store had no issue letting me charge my phone while I shopped. When I first came in, the older woman with straight hair and glasses spoke in a sarcastic and condescending tone. The interaction made me feel very uncomfortable and unwelcome. Despite that, I returned because I really wanted and needed new glasses since my frames were broken. While I was looking at Ray-Ban frames, the same employee made a comment suggesting my insurance didn’t cover those frames and gave off the impression that she doubted I could afford them. The way it was said felt dismissive and disrespectful. I do want to say that in the past I’ve had positive experiences with another older woman who has curly hair and glasses. She has always been kind and professional, and she represents the level of customer service I would expect. Overall, this most recent experience left me feeling judged and unwelcome, which was disappointing when I was simply trying to make a purchase and take care of something I needed. #confederatevibes
Theyre friendly and attentive but I Waited an hour even with making an appointment and being on time. They told me 4 days to receive my glasses. Its been 10 days now and I still dont have them. Twice I called, they said the glass are still at the lab, they'd call me back. Never received a call back.
We travel all over the US, about 270 days a year, so I’ve been to many eye care specialists around the country. Depending on where we are and my needs, this place truly stood out—definitely in my top two experiences. They didn’t try to upsell me on new glasses since mine were less than a year old; instead, they made my existing frames work with new lenses. Update (Aug 27, 2025): I came back with scratched lenses, and even though my warranty technically didn’t cover it (because I was reusing my own frames), they honored it anyway. That level of professionalism really impressed me. Thank you, guys, for going above and beyond. Update today: I got my glasses back from a repair and the gram was chipped and I was told to put nail polish on it this is unacceptable in my book.
This office is amazing! My son has a sweating disease..And not once did he feel uncomfortable. I praise and thank everyone that was so kind and didn't treat him differently. May God bless you all. ❤️
