I wish I can provide a zero star , this is my first time ever going to them so this is my first impression. If you’re seven minutes late to your appointment, they automatically cancel your appointment and give it to someone. Regardless of your reasoning for being late. I walked in. I mentioned my name and my appointment time. Keep in mind I waited almost 2 weeks for this appointment. And they said they can’t take me and they refused service. By the way, I reviewed both their privacy policy and their terms of service and they dont have anything written anywhere that if you’re 7 minutes late that you get Denied Service. I talked to the front desk lady (Maddie) and the other lady that was to the side and they said it’s not disclosed anywhere (they never even told me on the phone when I booked the appointment to begin with) that if you’re 7 minutes late that your appointment it will give to someone else. I feel like if you can make someone wait two weeks for an appointment then it’s OK to wait 10 or 15 minutes for them to arrive. This is horrible service honestly, probably one of the worst policies I’ve ever seen anywhere.

If I could leave 10 stars I would. Extremely impressed with the staff and doctor. So helpful and patient. The doctor was so thorough with my daughter and actually found a problem past doctors had missed. We were helped by Ashely afterwards and she was wonderful. Very helpful with finding us the best deal and made my 17 year old daughter feel comfortable in her glasses again after finding out she could no longer wear contacts. Highly recommend. Fantastic place.

The ladies at the front were great as always. The gentleman who did my son’s exam was not. This is the second time he has seen him, the first time I brushed it off as maybe a bad day since we all have had them. But today he was the same if not worse. He was not welcoming, didn’t explain anything he was doing became very frustrated when my son wasn’t following the pen with just his eyes. He even took a big sigh and almost looked up at the ceiling as if he was so annoyed. My son had his leg crossed under his other leg while in the exam’s chair and he said take your feet off the chair, which is completely fine but it’s his delivery from start to finish. Not like “hey buddy let’s sit straight” if my son asked a question he was sharp and short or he ignored him. People like this are the exact reason I go in all exam rooms with my children. I would have ended the appointment but my son’s eyes had been bothering him for some time now and I wanted to just hurry and get it over with. Thankfully my son was completely oblivious to this experience being horrible and was just so excited to see all the equipment and be in the exam’s chair I will return only if there is someone else to see us. The entire staff at the front were amazing and made myself and the kids feel very welcome

Jacqueline is my absolute favorite. I go to SVS this many years now because of her customer service. She remembers me. She puts so much effort into finding me the perfect pair of glasses. Helping me get out of my comfort zone and try new things. I will continue to go see her even after moving away from the area. She's simply amazing.

Having recently relocated to Wyandotte from Canton, I was searching for a place to take my daughter for her eye exams as well as purchase her new glasses whenever she’s in need of another pair. SVS Allen Park was very welcoming both on the phone and in person. The Doctor that saw her was very friendly and professional, had her in and out quickly, and the staff was equally as efficient and helpful when assisting my daughter in selecting her new frames and lenses. Can’t say enough good things about this staff. We will be back for all her future exams and new glasses purchases.
