Very friendly staff. Large selection of frames for women, much smaller selection for men. I'm happy with my glasses. Affordable prices if you have the right vision plan, too expensive if you have a Medicare Vision plan. I was able to purchase 2 pair, with Transition lenses for $285 with VSP Advantage plan. 6 months later, using an eMed Vision plan, 1 pair of glasses were $340. Basically the same glasses with Transition lenses. I didn't purchase the eMed glasses. I was able to purchase 2 comparable pair online, with Transition lenses with my Rx, without any insurance for $250.

I had a very disappointing experience with this eye clinic. I had a scheduled appointment, and due to work I was only 5 minutes late. Despite that, they told me the doctor refused to see me. I left my job and adjusted my schedule to make it to this appointment, so being turned away over just five minutes felt extremely unprofessional and inconsiderate. There was no effort to accommodate or understand my situation. I understand the importance of being on time, but a 5-minute delay should not result in completely refusing a patient — especially when appointments often run late on the clinic’s side. Very disappointed with the lack of flexibility and customer care.
Definitely one of the most accommodating staff nicest doctor ever I highly suggest this facility for anybody who's looking for some great glasses and phenomenal help
Awesome experience every time. Their eye doctor is super professional and showed me things I've never been shown before. Would highly recommend their services
Mae is always wonderfully welcoming. Seeing her feels like visiting family. Dr. Hemmer always makes eye exams fun and positive, even for adults who haven’t had them in decades. I pass by a few other SVS locations on the way to this one because I love the staff here. There is also a male employee at the desk who is absolutely wonderful. I wish I had gotten his name. One female employee was rather short with me over the phone while discussing an insurance question, which I did not appreciate, but overall I will still give 5 stars. 3 things for SVS to improve would be: 1. Don’t forget that impressions matter, and one sour apple can spoil the whole bunch. If my first interaction with your office would have been over the phone with the female employee who was not very helpful, I would not have returned. This is a WONDERFUL office, and you don’t need 1 person’s attitude tarnishing that reputation. 2. I hope the staff will receive more training on insurance policies, coverages, etc. It seems like there’s always an insurance difficulty when I come in. 3. Be sure to give your guests everything they have earned (free Swipe-It kit, notify the customer of perks, promotions, etc.). It is not the responsibility of the guest to have to remember to ask for the free kit - it should just be given. Overall, a great experience! Glasses came quickly this time.
