I don’t usually leave negative reviews, but I feel it’s important to share my experience. If I could give zero stars I would! I initially came in for an eye exam because my vision had become blurry over the past few days. I want to start by saying that the doctor who examined me, and the woman who helped me pick out my glasses, were both wonderful. They were kind, professional, and made my visit pleasant. Unfortunately, my experience after the appointment was completely different. After my eyes were dilated, I was told my vision would be blurry for a couple of hours. When my vision still hadn’t improved, I called the office because I was experiencing blurry vision and glare and was genuinely concerned. I asked if there was anything temporary I could use while waiting for my glasses or if the doctor recommended any eye drops. I was told someone would speak with the doctor and call me back. Later that day, I received a voicemail stating that the doctor had been informed of my symptoms and wanted me to schedule a follow-up appointment. When I called back to schedule the follow-up, another staff member insisted there was no reason for me to come back and repeatedly told me to “just wait” for my glasses, even after I explained that I still couldn’t see well enough to work or complete my daily activities. Instead of listening to my concerns, she interrupted me several times, spoke to me in a rude and dismissive tone, and even accused me of trying to make the situation seem like it was the office’s fault, which was never my intention. I was simply trying to understand why I had been told to schedule a follow-up appointment and whether there was anything that could help me while I waited. To make matters more frustrating, I was then told I would have to pay for another visit, despite having received a voicemail saying the doctor wanted to see me for a follow-up. The information I received was inconsistent, and no one took the time to explain it clearly. By the end of the call, the staff member's attitude became even more dismissive, and she ended the conversation abruptly. I understand that delays happen and that glasses take time to arrive. My frustration isn’t about that. It’s about how I was treated when I reached out with legitimate concerns about my vision. Patients deserve to be heard, treated with respect, and given consistent information. I hope this office works on improving communication and customer service because no patient should leave feeling ignored or disrespected

Carmille was an excellent help for finding the perfect pair of glasses for me. Very professional and endearing. Patient and easy to talk to. I love getting my eye exams and glasses from here! I highly recommend this location.
Amazing customer service from Veronica such a sweet woman helping me with all of the paperwork and to get a better discount from my insurance!!!! This isn’t common from places I’ve been before. The Optometrist was amazing 10 out of 10 will definitely be using them moving forward
Since moving back to NWI, I have been having a hard time finding a good optometrist. I honestly feel like I wasted my annual eye health appointment by coming here. The doctor did not do any eye dilation or advanced imaging. I recently called in to request a copy of my medical record. The person on the phone was rather unpleasant. They would not email the record to me. When I asked if my husband could stop in to pick them up for me, I was basically told only if I had a secure fax machine that they could send a waiver form to but really pressed that it would be best if I came in myself to pick them up. I had been to Gailmard the year before, and they were able to send me copies of my medical records via email without issue. The optometrist I saw here was calm and I didn't have any issues with him, but I wish he had been more thorough in his exam.
I came in as a walk-in on short notice, and Stephanie was amazing!! Professional, polite, and funny too!! Dr. Wheeler explained everything well, and answered my questions. I will definitely be coming back for all of my glasses needs. Thank you so much, ladies!! ♥️
